Driving Question: How can we, as corporate video marketing professionals, produce a series of videos that communicate the key messages of Da Vinci Schools?
Da Vinci Schools has tasked the Strategic Communications Pathway to produce a series of videos that shine the spotlight on DVC and Da Vinci as a whole. In collaboration with the Music and Media Pathway, teams will create a concept for their video topic, conduct research, assemble assets, compose a strategy brief, write a script and storyboards, identify interview subjects, record video and begin the production process. Along the way, you will learn the importance of messaging, branding and addressing the priorities of a client. The final product will be used to recruit new students, faculty and staff, and will be used to communicate Da Vinci's core brand to stakeholders and outside audiences.
Step into the shoes of a corporate video marketing professional and be part of a project that our school will use for years to come. You are the director and you get to call the shots. What will you create?
Final project requirements
Final video must be 3-5 minutes long (the Music & Media Pathway will also produce a 1-minute version of each video).
While each group will maintain creative vision for their videos, all projects must adhere to Da Vinci messaging guidelines and branding.
Each video must feature a slide with the Da Vinci logo at the end, along with the Da Vinci website (www.davincischools.org).
Videos must contain photos, video footage, and interviews with Da Vinci students, faculty and staff.
Final video will be uploaded to school YouTube channel for broader distribution.
